Alun Alun Kidal Street Night Market Kidul Plaza Yogyakarta 4K HDR

Join me for a walk through Alun-Alun Kidul (the Southern Square) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This place really comes alive at night with a unique mix of local traditions, vibrant lights, and an incredible variety of street food. In this video, we explore the square and check out some of the local highlights: The Twin Banyan Trees: Watch as people attempt the "Masangin" challenge—walking blindfolded between the two massive trees for good luck. It’s harder than it looks! Neon Pedal Cars: See the famous brightly lit, colorful cars that people rent to cruise around the square. Street Food Tour: We dive into the food scene, including 25-cent drinks, 56-cent ice cream, and a massive selection of local treats like dim sum, baby crab, and more. If you’re visiting Jogja, Alun-Alun Kidul is a must-visit spot to experience the local culture and hang out.
