Central Javanese Jackfruit Dish At Gudeg Yu Djum Restaurant 4K HDR

In this video, I visit the famous Gudeg Yu Djum in Yogyakarta to try their legendary Central Javanese jackfruit dish. For less than $3, I enjoyed a flavorful meal of gudeg (sweet and spicy jackfruit), rice, krecek, and chicken breast. Despite the heat and my initial confusion over what I was actually eating, the jackfruit and the rich flavors made it a great culinary experience! What’s in this video: The Location: Visiting Gudeg Yu Djum, a staple for authentic Central Javanese cuisine. The Dish: A deep dive into Gudeg, a unique dish made from young jackfruit stewed for hours with palm sugar and coconut milk. The Experience: Trying the chicken breast and the "krecek" (spicy cattle skin crackers) that often accompany the meal. The Verdict: Is this $2.92 meal worth the hype? (Spoiler: Yes!)
