After losing one mic in Vietnam and another in Indonesia, I finally made a trip to the DJI store at Emsphere Mall to pick up a replacement: the new DJI Mic Mini 2! In this video, I do a quick unboxing and share my first impressions on whether this $33 upgrade is worth it over the previous model, how the lightweight magnet/clip setup feels, and why carrying a compact mini mic makes daily vlogging so much easier than lugging around the heavier Mic 2.
