Prangin Mall Why Are So Many Shops Closed On Thursdays George Town Penang Malaysia 🇲🇾 4K HDR

Join me as I explore Prangin Mall in George Town, Penang, the nearest shopping center to where I'm staying. In this video, I take a "speed run" through the mall to see what it has to offer, from the essential air conditioning to some surprisingly low prices on services and entertainment. However, I noticed something unusual: many of the shops and restaurants were closed! Since it was a Thursday, I’m left wondering if there’s a religious or local reason for the mid-week closures. If you're from Malaysia or familiar with Penang, let me know in the comments why so many businesses might be shuttered on a Thursday! In this video: The Mall Tour: A look inside Prangin Mall, including the variety of phone shops, clothing stalls, and even a dedicated "Socks World." The McDonald's Mystery: I check the prices at the local McDonald's to see if they match the "most magnificent" location nearby. Budget Finds: From $9 women's haircuts to $4 new-release movie tickets at the cinema, I highlight just how affordable things are here. The "Stairs" Incident: An out-of-order escalator reminds me of a classic Mitch Hedberg joke—plus a look at the quiet atmosphere of the mall on a weekday. Featured Highlights: Location: Prangin Mall, Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia. Observations: High vacancy or mid-week closures? Help me solve the mystery! Tech: Filmed in 4K HDR for the best viewing experience.
